Mount the relay equipment on a tripod at the peak of transmission perfection, run a Cat5 cable down to your hidey-hole, and connect the other end to your compatible goggles, monitor or radio gear. It’s useful for cinematic pilots who want to keep the RF equipment at the stronger line-of-sight position while operating from somewhere more practical.

Compatibility

Designed for compatible FPV goggles, video monitors and radio-control equipment. Select 5.8GHz video / 868MHz ELRS for the complete video-and-control relay configuration, or 1.2GHz video / no ELRS TX for a video-only configuration. Contact us before ordering if you need a different frequency arrangement.

Please note that the ground and video lines on the video-out cable are reversed. If using standard monitors such as Skyzone, you may need to swap the pinout because most 3.5mm video jacks have ground on the base of the connector. Contact us if you have any questions about this.

Product Notes

Keep at least 60cm vertical separation between your TX and RX antennas on the tripod. If you mount them side-by-side, they will scream at each other and your goggles will go darker than a Game of Thrones night scene.
